One of the disadvantages of working with a network is that they charge a commission, which is normally up to 30% of what you charge affiliates. For example, this is how it works: Brand C affiliate program might sell $1 million of clothing. They pay their affiliates 10% commission, so the total commission of the program would be $100,000. The affiliate network would then charge 30% override on this figure so the brand would pay $130,000. The affiliates would get the $100,000 commission and the affiliate network would get $30,000 override.
Cohen says to start with an internal content audit and add metadata for SEO. Monitor your current analytics (which type of content attracts most traffic, on what platforms?) and what’s happening on your social media to get an idea of what your target audience is interested in right now. Once you have an idea of what kind of content will do best, gather content from across your organization and integrate content curation into your overall editorial calendar. Great article and I don’t think there’s too much that you have covered in this informative article about optimizing your site with proper SEO and numerous other ways to popularize your site and increase long term traffic. I myself have used many of the ways including PPC and Blogs but wasn’t really aware of how much I haven’t done to increase my web traffic.
